gelato ON STICK

i was intrigued by this so i tried. it looks promising. problem was i didn't order the right one. but the product is well executed, remember this is gelato.

a little expensive though..

that is a chocolate-flavored gelato with chocolate dip and hazelnut sprinkle
problem is the bitterness of the chocolate dip overpowers the flavor of the gelato. i suggested that they use a milder chocolate dip :)

good neighbor

one of the reasons why I've been at my place here in Manila for more than a decade is having a great landlady, not just the one who does not increase your rent for the longest time but gives you free food on weekends. I'd like to believe that these have not been factored in my monthly rentals..
nicely-grilled pork chop and pinakbet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinakbet) with rice

2:1

i went for Chinese and for goodness' sake I ordered 2 dishes good for 2 pax. but trust me, a little was left on the two of them.
can't miss that good chinese tea

i had a sliced beef noodle soup and fish with tofu in oyster sauce. NO RICE!!!

consistency for the longest time is key to sustainability of a restaurant

VENGEANCE

PULUTAN

the title refers to snacks or finger foods that Filipinos eat when drinking beer or liquor. That's the normal way of matching a drink in Phils. The superb way of drinking is having these as liquor's company. Literally, these are PULUTAN (one occasion only!)..
Lengua

Grilled Tilapia
