SALADAS

I had salad for lunch one day in SP..
you get to select what to include in the bowl of awesomeness..

i'm addicted to shoe-string potatoes, so I checked it

the controller told me, "hey, you gotta try the Graviola juice. It's one of the unique fruits here in the country". I obliged. when it arrived I tasted and I'm like.. "I know this fruit..." another sip.. "hmmm.. it's Guyabano!! (Soursop)". I have never eaten this fruit in my life here in the Phils. but it tasted great back there.

Brahma

I tried the pride of Football's Capital >>> Brahma Beer. it's draft. tasted like our San Miguel Light, but a little sweeter. When I went to the street party at Lapa Arches in Rio, I had more than half a liter of this, along with countless Caipiranhas and still managed to go back safe and sound to  the hostel where I was staying.

yes, I had the beer together with this dinner plate. This is one of the things I love about the food in Brasil, you can mix shoe-string potatoes on anything.

Typical BUFFET

Here's what a typical buffet meal looks like in Brasil.

classic Brazilian dish, i guess they call this Feijoada.

i love this!! Peach Juice readily available.

my BFF when I was travelling

best BURRITOS

one day on my visit to west coast, we went to Huntington Beach and my cousin took us to this mediocre-looking taco joint called Sancho's Tacos. but man!! the food was classic. I can tell that these burritos were the best I had, hands down. never judge the food by the looks of the place.

Steak in San Diego

Other than the excitement of seeing my grannies in West California, I had the pleasure of devouring a $25-worth steak, classic flipino dish sinigang, with an american twist -- potatoes.

send-off Lunch with the GIRLS

On my last week at the office, the ladies took me out for lunch at Nordstrom Cafe, I had Chicken Gnocchi.

Friday BRUNCH

it's a practice that someone has to bring breakfast every Friday at the office. when the big boss decided to have our end-of-workweek ritual somewhere, that is Chocolate Fashion in Coral Gables, I couldn't complain. It's one of the famous brunch restaurants in the area. They serve one of the best French Toasts out there too.

In-N-OUT

my bud was right, your first one will be special but nothing spectacular. but keep in mind, this is a fast food chain, not a gourmet burger stalls like Shake Shack and others. i'd still have this over McDonalds, Wendy's, Carl's Jr.

CHURRASCARIA

one 'challenging' day, I was left alone at the agency for lunch, so I scouted the area and found a lone food place. Little I didn't know that it was one of the most expensive (and probably the best too!) joints in that part of Latin America. spent almost USD70 for this meal, err meat feast.
