the ANSWER to summer

i'm not a fan of fancy Halo-halo. be it from a well-known joint in Manila or here. I want it to be complete -- with jackfruit, young coconut and other fruits that would make a distinct flavor. I don't want it to look like Ice Katchang. the secret of this though is how ripe must the fruits be. how good is the ube, how good is the leche flan topping, the flavor of the ice cream on top and how the ice was crushed. whichever version you like, this will surely give you both temporary relief from summer's heat and a mouthful of awesomeness.
