All-Day BFAST

can I say again that they did a great job converting the once-grassland Ayala Triangle to Ayala Triangle Gardens? There, I just did. I vow to try all the mini restaurants at this corner of the business district in a week's time. today it was the All-day Breakfast Cafe BFAST by Chef Laudico. I tried the Tapangus, or Angus Beef Tapa (dried/cured beef served fried) and a colleague had Angucino, Angus Beef Tocino (Cured meat). Just Php178 per plate.

the sweetness at WEDDINGS

VALUE For MONEY

I've never been to Ayala Triangle Gardens... the new jogging haven of Urban soldiers, err slaves. So I went there with a colleague, not to get fit but to EAT. Normally, restaurants and the like promise a "good value-for-money" serving, that is you'll be getting enough portion for what you'll shell out. Trust me, only 30% of them deliver this basic foodservice pitch. Then there's Banapple. I thought they just serve desserts but I love the entrees. (http://www.banapplekitchen.com/Banapple.html). Large portions. Good food. For just Php155 to Php185 per set plate (with rice and corn relish).
they have good house-blended iced tea too..

Crisp Pork Scallopini with Sour Cream Barbecue Sauce

Hickory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs

SENTRO

one of my fave filipino restos in the metro.. SENTRO at Greenbelt 3
Rated GG (Galunggong). It's a spanish-style Hard-tail Mackerel. Perfection.

Seafood Sinigang (Mixed Seafood in Tamarind Soup). Includes Milk fish belly, shrimp, and Gindara (Oil Fish-Escolar). what's good about this resto is they'll let you taste the sourness and saltiness of the soup before serving the dish.

Gindara Escabeche (Oil Fish, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escabeche)
Bottomless Sago't Gulaman sweetened by Minatamis (tapioca pearls and agar jelly, served in a sweet syrup and shaved ice)
