vacation is over

3-week vacation of my sis-in-law, her hubby, in-laws and friends is over and they finished it off with a fancy dinner at a good restaurant in greenbelt, with me of course.
white wine: great pairing for my seafood entree order

 

fresh oysters as starter
a pinch of lemon and droplet of sauce
Chinese ham with crispy bean curd and soft pao
Poached oysters in chardonnay cream sauce topped with caviar
Grilled lamb chops in Port wine sauce, served with goat cheese, parma ham salad and roasted potatoes
my order: pan-seared sea bass and canadian scallops with foie gras served with apple, carrots and cabbage

a heavenly bite: a piece of foie gras, scallop, apple and carrot
Steak
Chicken fillet coated with roasted nuts and special sauce, served with white rice and vegetables
