BAGNET to die for.. or die cos of it!

started the year with free foods.. these were from Stoops (Malugay St cor. Buendia Ave, Bel-Air Makati
City)

veggies with bagoong isda (fish paste)

fried Milk Fish Belly

Bagnet (is a deep fried pork dish from the Ilocos Norte region of the Philippines. It is sometimes called Ilocano Chicharon…Unlike chicharon though, bagnet is made with one whole big hunk of pork belly... the piece is boiled in its entirety for about an hour with certain herbs and spices, then dried in a hot oven, then deep-fried in low heat for another hour. After this you can either cut it up into smaller chunks, or leave it whole, then deep-fry again, this time at high heat, until golden brown and cripy). Lunch Out

me and some of my officemates had lunch at Flapjacks at Greenbelt 2. I've been hearing bout their Hashbrown Burger, yes, a 200g Angus Beef Patty with a piece of hash brown on top of it. I gave it a try, not bad. my colleagues had breakfast-all-day set. Before I forget, we finished the noontime delights with gelato. that's how men eat.

the key in enjoying this italian icecream is good combination. I had this melon-chocolate duo. the sourness of the fruit and the sweetness of the chocolate blended well.

starting the year with GRILLED foods

grilled pork belly and grilled chicken - free!

Mazapan De Pili

one of the best delicacies in Bikol Region.

New Year's Day Breakfast

what I like about this meal is the rich, thick, local hot chocolate drink.
